Created with the ambition to be the world’s most powerful and immersive soundbar , Danish audio brand Bang & Olufsen today announced Beosound Theatre: an innovative and thoughtful high-end soundbar that delivers the power of a home theater. , in a single product.

A BANG & OLUFSEN TV EXPERIENCE DESIGNED FOR ALMOST ANY SCREEN

Bang & Olufsen is famous for its unique approach to craftsmanship and design. Based on the principles of modularity, customers can easily transform the soundbar into a full wall-mounted or floor-mounted Bang & Olufsen TV experience, so it blends in seamlessly and takes up no more space than their current TV.

The modular design concept also applies to the replaceable TV screens and sound bar cover. The aluminum ‘wings’ are also extendable for customers whose TV screens grow larger as they are upgraded, showing that Beosound Theater continues to provide seamlessly integrated solutions for longevity.

FROM SOUND BAR TO SOUND CENTER

Although Beosound Theater is a powerful single product solution, it can evolve to be used as a specialized sound center, providing new possibilities to build your home cinema. With seven built-in outputs and support for up to 16 external speakers, it can be the heart of a complete Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 surround setup. In this configuration, Beosound Theater functions as a center speaker that fuses Dolby Atmos decoding and custom post-processing with Bang & Olufsen’s proprietary True Image algorithm to maximize the capabilities of all Bang & Olufsen speakers .

In addition, Beosound Theater includes a new bass management system that is second to none. Whereas other systems just send the bass to the loudest speaker, usually the subwoofer, Beosound Theater uses all the Bang & Olufsen speakers in the system to work together as a single unit. Not only does this give you the full potential of the entire system, but it also helps you control resonance in your listening room, ensuring that the different speakers are working together rather than separately.

With an 8K resolution, delivering four times more detail than 4K TV and 16 times more than HDTV, it is designed to deliver stunning picture quality, upgraded performance and artificial intelligence-enabled features that brings movies and sports to life like never before imagined.
